Gareth Casey
-
The founder of Casey's Transfers. Gareth was born in Swindon where his father was based in the Army but later moved to live in Leeds. In 1993 he moved to Gloucester and attended Severnvale school in Quedgeley.
Gareth started playing rugby at the age of 14 and played for Gloucester Academy and England under 16's and 18's. Due to injury, Gareth had to take time away from rugby but later returned semi-professionally playing for Lydney, Cinderford and Llanharan followed by a coaching role at Widden Old Boys.
Whilst working in Security, Gareth became a driver for his Dad's business and helped his parents form BackBadge Cars. Gareth is married and has a daughter, in his spare time he enjoys boxing to keep fit, so far he has had 2 fights raising money for charity and lost 6st in the process.
Gareth drives our executive vehicles and also provides security for VIPs and performers.

Richard Knight

Richard is a Gloucester man through and through. Prior to becoming a driver he spent 24 years in the Army, so appearance, customer service and punctuality are very important to him. He prides himself on being punctual and providing great customer service and going that extra mile to get the job done, with the needs of his customers coming first.
Richard also used to work for Gloucester Rugby Club as a community coach, and has coached several clubs within Gloucester and Bristol.
Richard can be found driving one of our executive vehicles.

Rob Baxter

Rob was born in Gloucester. Following his student days at Saintbridge Comprehensive School, he went on to study a one year Foundation Course at Cheltenham College. From there, he studied Graphic Design at Bristol Polytechnic from 1980 – 83, where he was awarded a First Class Honours Degree.
He then went on to study Information Design at Leicester Polytechnic from 1983 – 84, where he was awarded a Masters Degree.
Rob started his full time career in Graphic Design & Marketing in 1984 and has over 36 years experience in this field. As well as running his own Graphic Design & Marketing Business, Rob has also been working with Casey’s Transfers as a Private Hire Driver for over two years.
With a passion for driving and cars, Rob really enjoys providing all passengers with excellent customer service and a relaxed journey to and from their destination. Driving one of the very latest Renault Trafic Sport LWB vehicles, which can accommodate up to eight passengers together with additional room for luggage, child seats, push chairs and sporting equipment.

Mike Brown

Mike Brown has spent most of his working life to date, as a professional musician. He also ran 5 pubs for Scottish & Newcastle PLC in an eight year break from the music business.
Latterly, he has become an Amazon best selling author and private hire driver based in Gloucester.

Andy Casey

The founder and owner of 'BackBadge Cars'. Born in Malta where his Father was posted in the Navy. Andy has since lived in Singapore and various cities within the UK finally residing in Cheltenham. In 1972 he joined the Army and participated in boxing, cross country and athletics. After 17 years, Andy left the Army as the last Gloster Drum Major.
Andy moved to Leeds to be with his wife Shirley where he had jobs in Security, the family moved to live in Gloucester in 1993. Andy joined the Army cadets as an instructor in 1995 until 2010 and became the Senior Drum Major ACF for the UK. At the same time he formed 'KC Contract Hire', now known as 'BackBadge Cars'.

Shirley Casey

Wife to Andy and mother to Gareth and Gavin, Shirley is originally from Leeds but moved to Germany in 1980 after marrying Andy. Shirley and Andy had two sons whilst they were posted in Tidworth. Shirley has since worked with the blood transfusion unit, as an auxiliary nurse, a driver for the West Yorkshire Ambulance service and Police until 1999.
Shirley later joined Andy as a partner in 'KC Contract Hire' primarily doing school contracts, airport and seaport transfers. Shirley also joined Andy in the Army cadets as an adult instructor with the Corp of Drums for 5 years.
